2Bears Venture Corp. is a Canadian Incorporated Company providing professional engineering services by a single individual, Jerry H. McKay, P.Eng, registered with APEGA in Alberta, Canada since 1990. Jerry McKay offers engineering services on a purely consulting basis to Operating Companies or EPC Design Firms. Expertise includes Project Management, O&G Facility Engineering, Mechanical Design.
Like the reasonably-priced car on Top Gear, 2Bears may not be flashy but will always get you over the finish line.
2Bears Venture Corp. has done extensive work in the Canadian Domestic market, primarily the Province of Alberta but also in British Columbia, North West Territories and Saskatchewan. Interspersed with Domestic work 2Bears has done multi-year boots on the ground consulting in Cuba, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Northern and Southern Iraq and the UAE.
2Bears Venture Corp. was incorporated in 2000 by Jerry McKay. The name derives from the nicknames of his 2 sons in that time period.
Jerry H. McKay
Jerry Mckay is an experienced senior engineer, project manager and consultant who holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (First Class Standing) from the University of Alberta, Canada.
In his personal life, when Jerry is not draining the swamp or fighting the alligators, he enjoys outdoor activities back in Canada which may include camping, canoeing, skiing, mountaineering and offroading. He tinkers with landcruisers in his spare time and is interested in the latest offers from the tech world be it hardware, software or AI. Jerry has travelled extensively for pleasure as well as work.
